A few good questions
What does fractional look like?
Clear responsibilities, a defined scope, and a leadership cadence that fits your business.
Who is this a good fit for?
Established B2B service, equipment, and multi-location businesses with paying customers and an existing sales team. A typical starting fit is three to fifteen sellers and an owner ready to support changes in how sales operates.
How is this different from a full-time VP?
You get senior leadership within an agreed part-time scope. The core engagement includes up to 32 delivery hours per 30-day billing period. All recurring leadership and coaching services can be terminated with 30 days’ written notice. Your team handles daily selling; I lead the agreed coaching, forecasting, and improvement work.
Where should we start?
Sales Advisor offers focused monthly support with pipeline review and sales training. A two-day Sales Intensive is available when your team needs training and a go-to-market strategy. We’ll use the initial conversation to choose the right level of support.
Can you work with a remote sales team?
Yes. The weekly leadership cadence can run remotely. On-site work and travel can be discussed and scoped separately.
Can I hire you for one project?
Yes. Margin reviews, RFP support, commercial pro formas, account growth plans, sales enablement, and sales hiring support can be scoped as defined projects. We agree on deliverables, timing, data access, and fees before beginning. A project does not require an ongoing VP engagement.
How do Sales Advisor and Sales Leader Coaching differ?
Sales Advisor includes one monthly coaching session that includes pipeline review and sales training, plus one half-day strategy session every six months of continuous service. Sales Leader Coaching includes two monthly leadership sessions, a monthly pipeline review, manager coaching, action tracking, quarterly strategy sessions, and CEO meetings as needed within up to 12 delivery hours per 30-day period. Both can be terminated with 30 days’ written notice.
What results do you measure?
We agree on the baseline and relevant measures first: qualified opportunities, conversion, deal age, forecast accuracy, coaching actions, and financial performance. The engagement commits to defined work; sales results depend on your market, offering, and execution.
